You Tried It: The Good, The Bad & The Tove Lo Of This Week’s Reader Comments

The Queens of Pop completely took over this week. Well, almost completely – Frank Ocean surprised us all with a visual album that wasn’t the album we were actually expecting.

Britney Spears sent a special happy birthday message to Madonna, showing royalty can worship royalty in the pop world. The Holy Spearit also dropped another sexy track from Glory, “Do You Wanna Come Over,” deepening the divide between Britney’s lovers and #h8rs. Not to mention, Lady Gaga and Alicia Keys spoke about their forthcoming, long-awaited albums, Tove Lo announced that her new, epically-titled LP Lady Wood, and we even got word that Cher is recording new music.

Some of you dutifully bowed to pop royalty, and some of you had other thoughts. Here are some of the best and worst of this week’s reader comments.

This Week’s Sassiest Sally: Rachel Danza

This treasure wasn’t all that impressed when she heard that Cher is recording again.

Most Likely To Appreciate A Subliminal Message: Ice Warrior

The cover for Tove Lo’s new album Lady Wood put some people’s mind in the gutter. With her hand in her pants and the weird-shaped “O’s,” that was probably on purpose.

“I knew those O’s looked like vaginas for a reason.”

This Week’s Honest Abe: Burk Kyler

The scrapped Lady Gaga/Azealia Banks collab from Artpop leaked. But at least we now know why it never saw the light of day.

“‘Pump it, I wanna see you Pump IT!’ This is a big pile of poop but I’ve listen to it no less than 15 times…”

This Week’s Most Intense Stan: Leon Pinto-Turner

Britney is returning to the VMA stage, and uh, yeah, I guess you could say some people are excited.
