Britney Spears Does Not Approve Of The Britney Lifetime Biopic
Lifetime is giving its cheesy unauthorized biopic treatment to Britney Spears, and it’ll cover her rise and of course all the scandalous, semi-fictionalized details of her split with Justin Timberlake, the infamous head-shaving incident and the K-Fed era. As you can probably guess, it will be a trainwreck. And as you can probably guess, Britney isn’t getting behind the two-hour TV movie.
A rep for Spears tells EW the star isn’t contributing “in any way, shape or form… nor does it have her blessing.” Nonetheless, filming begins next month. Australian actress Natasha Bassett will play Spears, and the role of Timberlake hasn’t been announced yet.
