You Tried It: The Good, The Bad & The Britney Spears Of This Week’s Reader Comments
This week kind of feels like the calm before the storm. The 2016 VMAs are coming up this weekend, and Kanye has been given free reign to do whatever the hell he wants on stage for four minutes, Rihanna is slated to receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award and Britney Spears (who just released her stellar new album Glory) is going to be this year’s opening act. So brace yourself, people. It’s going to get interesting.
Elsewhere, Carly Rae Jepsen released her fantastic E•MO•TION: Side B, Frank Ocean dropped his long-awaited album Blond and the new band of judges of The Voice (Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton) belted a dizzying version of Aerosmith hit “Dream On” Not to mention, here at Idolator, we spoke to up-and-comer Betsy about her entry into the pop universe.
Of course, our readers had a lot to say about it all. Check out some of this week’s best and worst reader comments below.
