Britney Spears’ 'Glory': Album Review
Will Britney's new album make you ooh? Is it something sensational? Read and find out.

Britney Spears’ “Make Me” debuted at number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100 a month ago, but soon found itself in a chart free-fall — a situation RCA Records tried to remedy by offering a hefty discount on iTunes. And it worked. The Burns-produced anthem is currently perched at number 2 on the digital retailer in the wake of Brit’s performance at Sunday night’s (August 28) MTV VMAs. The next step in reviving the song’s fortunes? Sending the audio of her VMAs performance to pop radio. At least, according to this website.

In case you missed it, Britney and G-Eazy not only performed “Make Me” at the VMAs, they also included a verse from “Me, Myself & I” — the rapper’s other 2016 crossover pop hit, which was originally voiced by Bebe Rexha. The hybrid anthem has been rebranded as the “VMA Eazy Remix” and has already been posted on the diva’s official VEVO account (below). This all seems a little excessive. Particularly when there are so many other potential singles on Glory that resonate more organically with fans. On the other hand, all’s fair in love and pop music.
