Meghan Trainor Takes A Tumble
Meghan Trainor took a tumble during a performance of "Me Too" on 'Fallon.'

The last time Meghan Trainor performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she took a tumble and fell flat on her face on national TV. The 22-year-old made a triumphant return to the talk show last night (August 29) — flawlessly belting out new single “Better” while remaining upright. The hitmaker was joined by “Down In The DM” rapper Yo Gotti, who also got through his (unnecessary) verse without injury. It was an accomplished performance that really should have taken place a night earlier at the MTV VMAs instead of Ariana Grande or The Chainsmokers.

Meghan’s sophomore LP, Thank You, received mixed reviews (the main gripe is her contemporary sound overhaul), but that hasn’t stopped the “All About That Bass” diva racking up hits. Ricky Reed-produced single “NO” soared to number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, while the catchy follow-up, “Me Too,” was arguably the Song Of The Summer. With “Better” a no-brainer for pop and rhythmic radio programmers, it looks like the Grammy winner is going to have the last laugh. Watch her in action up top.
