Pop Perspective: Fergie's "M.I.L.F. $"
We dissect Fergie's polarizing new single "M.I.L.F. $" in the latest Pop Perspective.

This came out of nowhere! The Black Eyed Peas have reunited — yes, Fergie is involved — to update their 2003 smash “Where Is The Love?” and it’s dropping tomorrow (August 31). The revised version features cameos from Justin Timberlake, Diddy, DJ Khaled, A$AP Rocky, Tori Kelly, Nicole Scherzinger, Jamie Foxx, Jessie J, Andra Day and Jaden Smith, and will raise money for victims of police brutality as well as the officers gunned down in Dallas. You can find out more about the song’s benefactors on the project’s new website.

“Where Is The Love?” brings the most famous incarnation of the group back together for the first time since 2011 hit “Don’t Stop The Party.” Since then, the band has focused on solo projects. Will.i.am landed a global hit with Britney Spears-voiced banger “Scream & Shout” (he also produced most of Britney Jean), while Fergie has been chipping away at Double Dutchess for what feels like an eternity. Taboo and apl.de.ap have also released solo singles. See the full line-up for their latest project below.
