So apparently In The Lonely Hour is not Sam Smith‘s first album after all.

In a strange turn of events, Flip Book Music’s studio (an independent label based in London) is re-releasing Smith’s actual debut from 2008 called – wait for it – Sam Smith Diva Boy. In fact, the English crooner is quoted in the very beginning of the LP’s stream saying, “I’ve gone on an incredible, incredible journey with the first album. It has given me the ability to learn my art.”

The label has also finagled a music video for the supposed lead single “Momentarily Mine,” which sees a young Sam Smith belting the ballad while sitting on a stool.

This isn’t the first time Smith’s earlier music has been released. His pre-fame EP Bad Day All Week is available via HMV Digital, not to mention a Lost Tapes: Remixed album that’s also circulating the internet.
