Beyonce's 'Lemonade': Album Review
We dissect Bey's powerful 6th LP 'Lemonade.' Read our track-by-track review.

In today’s important music news, Beyonce is now a proud dog owner. The VMAs-conquering superstar showed off the puppy, which looks like a Shitzu/Maltese cross to me, on a trip to the park with adorable daughter Blue Ivy. They took the newest member of the Carter clan for a little stroll and happily posed for pics. Now we just need to find out the famous pet’s name. (My money’s on Becky). It’s nice to see Bey enjoying the simple things in life with the second North American leg of The Formation World Tour kicking off in New Jersey on September 7.

While the 34-year-old’s focus is firmly on touring, she could have an early fall hit on her hands with “Hold Up.” The reggae-tinged bop, which boasts three samples and 15 songwriters, debuted at number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 on the release of Lemonade, but it’s only now gathering momentum on rhythmic and urban radio. That combined with her show-stealing MTV VMAs performance, has resulted in a surge in downloads that should see the track re-charting shortly. If only she had time to throw together a visual. Who knows? It could already be stored away on her laptop.

Here’s a gif of Beyonce’s day at the park:
