Kanye West can officially add “King of Tour Merch” to his resume.

During his Monday night (September 5) show at Madison Square Garden, West reportedly sold $780,000 worth of tour souvenirs. According to TMZ, the Chicago rapper outsold Pope Francis, who set the merchandise sales record at $540,000 when he performed Mass at the famous New York City venue in 2015.

The rapper’s gear included a wide variety of hats, shirts and sweaters while the Pope’s event boasted crucifixes, rosaries, baseball caps and a limited addition Christmas ornament. Ultimately though, it all goes to show that love him or hate him, Kanye knows exactly what he’s doing.
