Kanye West Teased That Joint Drake Album Again

Things are starting to heat up on the Cruel Winter front, but Kanye West isn’t satisfied with rumors swirling about just one of his projects. So over the past few months he’s been dropping vague teases about a long-rumored joint album with Drake. Earlier this year, on stage (so you know it’s unreliable) at OVO Fest, West asked fans if they were ready for the joint project. A few weeks later, a billboard popped up in L.A. showing the G.O.O.D. Music logo next to the OVO logo.

And now in a new Vogue interview ahead of his Yeezy Season 4 show (streaming right here right now), West nonchalantly says the thing is in the works and on the way.

“We’re just working on music, working on a bunch of music together, just having fun going into the studio,” he said. “We’re working on an album, so there’s some exciting things coming up soon.”

“Soon” could mean anything, though, coming from the guy who promised a Yeezus follow-up would arrive within a year of the original, the guy who said he had a new album called Turbo Grafx 16 dropping this summer, the guy who released his most recent album a few days after its official release date, the guy who said “Wolves” was the first track on his new album.
