Taylor Swift has returned to the studio, says supermodel Gigi Hadid.

“She’s obviously such a great friend, and you know she is starting to go back to work in the studio again, and really made time to be here for me, and I’m so grateful for that,” Gigi said last night (September 9) to Entertainment Tonight, while backstage at #TOMMYNOW Women’s Runway show. (Taylor and pal Martha Hunt were among those who watched Gigi walk the runway.)

Taylor has been on a break from music since she wrapped her blockbuster 1989 World Tour late last year. “I decided I was going to live my life a little bit without the pressure on myself to create something,” she said to Vogue.

But Taylor has still been somewhat productive. Under the alias Nils Sjöberg, she co-wrote Calvin Harris“This Is What You Came For” featuring Rihanna. Her rep confirmed this after Taylor and Calvin announced their break-up — which seemed amicable, until Calvin accused Taylor of treating him as “someone new to try and bury” like Katy Perry.

There was this fan theory that Taylor would release a new album by October, as she has every two years for the past decade. But if she is only returning to the studio now, there is no way she will have a new album out anytime soon. Instead, Taylor is watching Gigi walk to, you guessed it, “This Is What You Came For” — watch below.

Looking up videos of kittens hugging each other, probably.

Clearly all of us were able to remain calm at Gigi’s show. Especially @anwarhadid.
