Years & Years’ “Meteorite”: Listen To The ‘Bridget Jones’s Baby’ Soundtrack Song

Two years after their breakthrough single “Desire” cracked the UK chart and 14 months after the release of debut LP Communion, synth-pop trio Years & Years return with new single “Meteorite,” which serves as a cut on the soundtrack for Bridget Jones’s Baby (in theaters September 16). There’s no big change in sound here (save for a slight disco vibe), but that’s not a bad thing; Years & Years have a lock on catchy dance-pop, and if it ain’t broke… you know?

Regarding their involvement in the soundtrack, band frontman Olly Alexander says the following, per a press release: “If there’s anyone I’d like to be it’s Bridget — a wanton sex goddess with a very bad man between her thighs.” Same, really.

Hear “Meteorite” below.
