Zayn Is Producing A Boy Band Drama For NBC
Zayn Malik is branching into TV by producing a boy band drama for NBC.

Zayn Malik stopped promoting debut LP Mind Of Mine a couple of months ago, but he hasn’t exactly been taking it easy. The 23-year-old has dropped collaborations with Snakehips and M.I.A., teamed up with Dick Wolf to produce a boy band drama for NBC and written his very first book. The thorn in One Direction’s side will release “his first autobiography” on November via Penguin Random House. According to the press release, Zayn “opens up with a collection of thoughts, inspirations, personal stories, notes and drawings, and never-before-seen personal photographs.”

“I’m going to show you as much as I can so that you can judge me on my own terms, not on what the press or anyone else says,” the “Pillowtalk” hitmaker writes in the book, which follows his journey from regular kid in Bradford, England through to his stint in One Direction and present solo stardom. It will be interesting to see if he spills the beans about his high profile romances and various feuds. Hopefully, Zayn also gives us an update on his sophomore LP.
