’80s movie star and occasional rocker Corey Feldman went viral for all the wrong reasons when he debuted new single “Go 4 It” on The Today Show on Friday (September 16). I thought the double threat’s performance was one of the most entertaining things I’ve ever seen on breakfast TV (bring on Angelic 2 The Core!), but most critics saw it differently and he was inundated with insults on social media. “We can’t get out of bed right now,” he wept in a now-deleted Facebook video. “We’re petrified to even go out.” It turns out Kesha caught wind of the backlash and was far from impressed.

“This just broke my heart,” the pop diva wrote last night. “I wanna reach out to Corey Feldmen in a kind way and say that you have to not read that shit. people can be so horrible and mean online and it can BREAK you. do you, fuck everyone.” She then advised haters to walk in his shoes before rushing to judgement. “hose people have never performed on the today show,” Kesha continued. “It’s easy to sit at a computer and talk shit. it’s not easy to perform in front of millions. keep your head up. normal is BORING.” Read her post and see Corey’s viral performance below.
