Glorious! Britney Spears To Connect With Fans Via New App
Move over, Kim Kardashian! Britney Spears is the new queen of apps. The pop star, who released a game called Britney Spears: American Dream in May, is aiming to bring people together with her latest tech experiment. “With my app that I’m coming out with soon, there’s a lot of skits and a lot of interaction with the fans where I actually ask them questions and bring them into the situation so we can have some kind of connection going on,” the 34-year-old told iHeart Radio. What inspired the venture? Meet & greets at her Las vegas residency.
“I meet like 30 to 40 people every night,” Britney explained. “They come in, I say hello to them, and we take pictures and they show me their tattoos, and they show me all these different things and it’s cool. It’s really fun. There’s a lot of regulars that come back every week.” Apart from conquering the app market, the pop icon is also preparing to perform at the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Festival. Who is she hoping to watch at the event? “I love Sam Hunt. I can’t wait to see him perform. I think my heart melts for him and probably Sting,” she said. “I absolutely love Sting and Twenty One Pilots.”
