Justin Timberlake’s Cover Of Earth, Wind & Fire’s “September”: Listen To A Clip
The Trolls soundtrack hits retailers tomorrow (September 23), ahead of the animated film’s November 4 release date in theaters. And with that comes a handful of new recordings by the album’s executive producer, Justin Timberlake. We already know his chart-topping spring/summer smash “Can’t Stop The Feeling!” by heart. And you’re probably just as well-versed in the Cyndi Lauper classic “True Colors,” which JT and Trolls co-star Anna Kendrick perform in the movie.
Appropriately enough, given that today is the first day of autumn, we’re now privy to a 45-second clip of Timberlake’s cover of Earth, Wind & Fire‘s funky, fall-themed 1978 disco gem “September.” That’s actually thanks to Earth, Wind & Fire themselves, who tweeted the snippet out.

Sadly, founding Earth, Wind & Fire member Maurice White was one of the musician’s we lost this year, in February, after a battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was 74. Thankfully, White’s music lives on.
Give the clip of Justin’s take on “September” a listen above.
