Backstreet Boys just announced its 'Larger Than Life' residency in Las Vegas — see the dates.

This year’s iHeartRadio Music Festival has been full of surprises, like a Miley Cyrus cameo during Billy Idol‘s set. Country duo Florida Georgia Line‘s set was no exception.

Just as they did this past spring, Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard introduced their cover of 1997’s “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” with a few disclosures about their “roots”: Brian Kelley‘s first concert was Backstreet Boys, while Tyler Hubbard‘s first CD was a Backstreet Boys album. But for iHeartRadio Music Festival, Florida Georgia Line actually brought out the Vegas-bound boy band for “Everybody,” freaking the crowd out.

At this point, Backstreet Boys and Florida Georgia Line are practically old pals. Earlier this summer they hit the studio together, to record a song for the latter’s upcoming album.

Watch Backstreet Boys join Florida Georgia Line to sing “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” below.
