The Queen of Coffee Shop Music is alive and well, people! Norah Jones has shared her single “Tragedy,” the latest track off her forthcoming album Day Breaks (out October 7).

A soulful slow-burner, this number finds Jones singing about a man who falls victim to alcoholism. “Babies and a patient wife/ they just wouldn’t have to keep him high/ so he gave them up just to fill his cup/ every sip would make him feel alive,” she croons, her husky vocals floating across a piano-laden melody. It’s melancholic, soothing and perhaps best listened to with a good cappuccino in hand.
