Is This Another Clue That Taylor Swift Has New Music On The Way?

Lady Gaga is headlining the Super Bowl 51 Halftime Show in February, but that whole weekend, various musicians will descend on Houston to play corporate parties and concerts tied in with the game. And it’s just been announced that Taylor Swift is one of them.

The star signed a new deal with AT&T that the company is describing as “a major, exclusive multi-year, multi-faceted deal.” And one part of the partnership is a performance in Houston at DIRECTV Super Saturday Night on February 4 (the night before Super Bowl Sunday).

Could this be another indicator that she’ll be releasing new music before the year is out? By now you probably know the fall theory — that every other year she’s released an album in the fall, and her last one came in fall of 2014. In support of that we have this AT&T news, the apparent new snippet that surfaced last month, a friend saying she’s recording new material, and perhaps some blatant misdirection by her label head. Taylor season approaching.
