Justin Bieber Really, Really Likes Shawn Mendes’ New Album
Justin Bieber really, really likes Shawn Mendes’ new album. After urging fans to buy Illuminate on Twitter, the 22-year-old sang the fellow Canuck’s praises in a second tweet. “Shawn Mendes voice makes me smile,” he wrote (with “Treat You Better” probably blasting in the background). “Truly a gift to be able to move peoples emotions through songs! So proud of you brother! Great album!” The Purpose hitmaker then fired off a link to the album. It didn’t take long to get a response: “Ah man! Thank you SO much!!! Truly thank you!”
It looks like things have come full circle since Justin threw a lot of shade at the teenager in 2015 radio interview. (He basically pulled a Mariah Carey and pretended not to know his rival). Anyway, the guys sorted things out and now a beautiful bromance is in full bloom. “I’ve hung with Justin a little bit, he’s a great guy,” Shawn raved in Notion magazine in March. “Sometimes things are hard and go wrong but props to him for turning it around and making a comeback, it’s impressive.” See their tweets below.
