Drake Is Working On New Music Every Day

If you thought Drake would see his huge (juiced up, mathematically improbable) streaming numbers and rest on his laurels, then you don’t know Drake. Last month, he announced that he had half a dozen new songs finished, and he told his crowd in Chicago last night (October 5) that there’s much more where that came from.
“I’ve been working on new music in the studio every night,” he said. Which means some late nights, since he’s been performing almost every night, too. And now that he’ll be laid up for a few days with an ankle injury, that probably just means more time to be a studio rat, whether it’s for his next album or that secretive project with Kanye West.
