Nicki Minaj Trolled Everyone By “Announcing” New Album ‘Pick My Fruit Out’
In the age of social media, fans are constantly asking pop superstars for an update: When is their album coming out? Will they be touring? Have they watched Lady Gaga‘s “Perfect Illusion” video? Nicki Minaj, who has actually been working on her follow-up to The Pinkprint, decided to troll her followers by “announcing” new music last night (October 8).
“Ok u know what I wasn’t going to say anything but damn ya got it out of me,” she said on Twitter. “It’s called #PickMyFruitOut.”
People should have gotten the joke when Nicki posted the “tracklist,” which included a song titled “Bananas (Harambe Interlude)” and “N—- Toss My Fruit Salad” featuring her “favorite rapper of all time.” But for good measure, she retweeted a fan who suggested “Pears” featuring Rick Ross and told another that she had been “cryin laughin” the entire time.
