Watch Sky Ferreira Perform ‘Twin Peaks’ Theme
Sky Ferreira will give you Masochism when she damn well pleases. And if she wants to spend some time celebrating the work of David Lynch before that release comes, then she will. She already has, when she performed “Blue Velvet” last year, and she did again last night (October 9), at Lynch’s Festival Of Disruption in Los Angeles.
This time Ferreira performed as part of Angelo Badalamenti‘s “Music Of Twin Peaks” showcase, taking on the show’s title theme “Falling” along with original artist Julee Cruise, according to Pitchfork. Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith and Rhye also performed at the event’s final night. Watch fan footage of Sky’s rendition below.

Ferreira’s working relationship with the iconic director will soon go beyond these tribute shows, as she’s one of many musicians who will appear in the Twin Peaks reboot next year, along with Trent Reznor, Eddie Vedder, Sharon Van Etten and more.
