Solange Knowles has taken A Seat At The Table to the #1 position on the Billboard 200, marking her first chart-topping album, and her second Top 10 over all. (Solange’s sophomore LP, Sol-Angel & The Hadley St. Dreams, peaked at #9 in 2008). A Seat At The Table debuts with 72,000 total equivalent album units, 46,000 of which are traditional album sales.

It’s yet another week where the top-selling album — in this case, Bon Iver‘s 22, A Million — is beaten to the top by another LP that racked up more streams. 22, A Million arrives with 71,000 equivalent album units, with 58,000 of those being traditional album sales.

Bon Iver is now two for two at #2. The band’s Gold-certified previous effort, 2011’s Bon Iver, Bon Iver, peaked at the same position.
