The Weeknd’s “False Alarm” Video Drops Thursday
The Weeknd surprised everyone with “False Alarm” last month — not that it was a surprise release, just that it was a surprising release that found the king of druggy R&B gloom mining dance-punk. And the star(boy) announced on Twitter this afternoon that the video is premiering tomorrow (October 13).
He teased the visual with a movie-style poster featuring a bunch of skulls, captioned “A Gritty Story. Parental Advisory.” Grittier than killing his old self?

The only other clue about what to expect is the tiny print at the bottom that says “Feature Length Approx. 6 Mins.” — the song itself is only 3:51 so it appears there’ll be a decent share of narrative action.
This video comes a few weeks after the Toronto singer dropped the “Starboy” visual. His album of the same name is out November 25.
