Clean Bandit’s “Rockabye” With Sean Paul And Anne-Marie Surfaces Online A Day Early

In 1993, Swedish popsters Ace Of Base broke through with their reggae-influenced dance gem “All That She Wants,” which contains the eyebrow-raising, though instantly recognizable chorus, “All that she wants is another baby!”

Twenty-three years later, enter British act Clean Bandit with their Ace Of Base-esque new single “Rockabye,” a song about an actual baby (and, by extension, a single mom). “Cheap Thrills” rapper Sean Paul and British “Alarm” singer Anne-Marie lend their vocals to the sentimental tune, which follows up Clean Bandit’s global summer hit “Tears.”

Sadly for fans of Clean Bandit, member Neil Amin-Smith announced his departure from the group this week. While he had a hand in the recording of “Rockabye,” there’s no news yet as to how much further his musicianship will make it onto the band’s yet-to-be-released sophomore LP, aside from the two singles released this year.

“Rockabye” managed to find its way online a day ahead of its official October 21st release date. We’ll post it here once it legitimately arrives. Make sure you check it out, as it might just be the best Clean Bandit single since “Real Love” — words, mind you, we don’t throw around lightly!
