Justin Timberlake stopped by for some hang time with his friend Jimmy Fallon last night (October 26) on The Tonight Show, and they got into the usual batch of viral-optimized high jinks. This time, it was a summer camp performance of Alanis Morissette‘s “Ironic” and JT explaining that illegal voting selfie.
With its short shorts and bad wigs, the sketch answers the question “What would the Justin Timberlake of today look like with his *NYSNC hair?”
During his interview, Timberlake explained that he had no idea that taking a photo in a polling station is illegal in Tennessee. “Get out and vote. Damn straight. But don’t take a picture of yourself in there,” he told the crowd. He since deleted the pic from Instagram, and the county authorities have said they have no intention of charging him.
