Following up her Redemption lead single “Renegades,” D∆WN (real name Dawn Richard) has released a new track “Vines.”

The song is produced by Maroon 5 keyboardist PJ Morton and finds Richard professing her love to her significant other over a languid, dazed melody. “I refuse to think I’m going to walk this earth alone, no/ I wanna be with you,” she coos over the looming base line. It’s a minimal yet ferocious record, and one in which the singer also gets in touch with her own desires.

“As a woman, you reach a place where you’re comfortable in your own skin. You’re fearless in what you talk about,” she said of the song to W Magazine, who premiered the track. “As a woman, you shouldn’t have to apologize for speaking on sexuality.”

Right on.

Redemption is out on November 18.
