Sampha's Debut
Sampha will release his debut album 'Process' in February, which means 2017 will be his year.

Solange made a memorable Saturday Night Live debut last night (November 11).

She turned 30 Rockefeller Center in chaotic New York City into a world of her own. Everyone on stage, including surprise guest Sampha, dressed in all white as if at a baptism. Meanwhile, whether she wore a crown or her hair teased out in all its glory, Solange appeared regal as she performed A Seat at the Table‘s “Cranes in the Sky” and “Don’t Touch My Hair” — these meditative songs that provide calm in a world that often treats black women like herself without dignity. She turned the SNL stage into this sacred space.

Watch Solange perform “Cranes in the Sky” and “Don’t Touch My Hair” on SNL below.
