Jeezy Tops Album Chart For Third Time

Four of the seven albums that debuted in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 seven days ago drop out of the upper tier this week, with Lady Gaga‘s Joanne (#5), Pentatonix‘s A Pentatonix Christmas (#6) and Michael Buble‘s Nobody But Me (#10) still hanging in there.

This leaves room for four new titles to crash the first four positions of the chart via meager sales and just as ho-hum streaming numbers, with Jeezy‘s Trap Or Die 3 at #1 (89,000 total units, 73,000 in traditional sales) being the leader of the pack. This being the rapper’s seventh album, it also marks his seventh consecutive placing in the Top 5, plus his third chart-topping LP.

In the runner-up position is Kenny Chesney with his 11th consecutive Top 5 album, Cosmic Hallelujah, at #2. The country superstar is followed at #3 by Meek Mill and #4 by Avenged Sevenfold.
