Kylie Unveils 'Snow Queen Edition' Of Xmas LP
Kylie Minogue is rereleasing her festive opus with a bunch of new covers.

Kylie Minogue is rereleasing Kylie Christmas on November 25 with glamorous new artwork and six new tracks. The bulk of the new material is comprised of unexpected cover versions including interpretations of East 17’s “Stay Another Day” and Coldplay’s “Christmas Lights.” The most surprising new inclusion, however, is the Aussie pop icon’s take on Rozalla’s ’90s club hit “Everybody’s Free (To Feel Good).” On paper, the song doesn’t exactly scream Christmas — but it makes a lot more sense after hearing a preview.

Kylie’s version, which was produced by long-time collaborator Steve Anderson (“Confide In Me,” “Flower” etc.) soundtracks a new commercial for Boots pharmacies in the UK. It begins slowly, creating the false impression that Kylie has transformed the club classic into a ballad, before revealing itself as a fully fledged disco anthem. What it lacks in seasonal trimmings, it more than makes up for with feel-good vibes and general fabulousness. Listen to a snippet of the pop star’s shimmery cover below.
