Lady Gaga Protests Donald Trump Being Elected President Outside Trump Tower
While it’s looking like Hillary Clinton eked out a slim “victory” with the popular vote in the US presidential election on November 8, it doesn’t matter. Donald Trump clinched the electoral vote, and will officially enter the White House as the 45th President of the United States in January.
None of this sat well with Clinton supporter Lady Gaga, who staged a lone, silent protest outside of Trump Tower in Manhattan in the early morning hours on Wednesday (November 9).
“I want to live in a #CountryOfKindness where #LoveTrumpsHate,” the chart-topping diva tweeted, along with a black and white photo of herself standing on the side of a sanitation truck while holding a “love trumps hate” sign.
In the photo, Gaga is alone, but she’s voicing the thoughts of 59,248,753 people on this November morning.
