Rihanna Is A Shape-Shifting Burlesque Dancer In ‘Valerian’ Trailer: Watch
Rihanna is a sci fi geek, that is undeniable now. She did a song for the last Star Trek movie, outed herself as a Trekkie and now she’s in Valerian, a new sci fi epic from the director of the super-geeky The Fifth Element. It was previously reported that she’d play some sort of alien stripper, and now with the trailer out we have more details about the role and get to see her in action.
Entertainment Weekly shared a GIF of her character in some sort of burlesque show, and reports that she has some 20 minutes of screen time. In the trailer, she shows up for just a couple seconds, revealing herself to be some sort of shape-shifter as her hair goes from brown to blonde.
Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets hits theaters in July 21. Watch the trailer below.
