Taylor Swift Might Be Making An R&B/Hip-Hop Album, God Save Us [LOL There Is No God]

This is not what the world needs right now. Taylor Swift and Drake are possibly working on music together, and now that has bloomed into a rumor that Swift is working on an entire album of hip-hop and R&B-tinged songs.

The report comes from The Sun, so it goes without saying that it’s super flimsy. “Taylor is always looking at ways to grow as an artist and really wants to try something different and unexpected for the next album,” a source told the tabloid, adding some context about Drake’s role: “As well as writing with Taylor, he’s producing a few tracks and even lent his vocals to one song. It’s a real mix of edgier hip-hop and R&B sounds.” You know Drake, famous for producing, and for his edgy sound!

This wouldn’t be Swift’s first foray into the most pop-friendly of hip-hop territories, as she enlisted Kendrick Lamar for the “Bad Blood” remix — coincidentally it was one of Lamar’s lowest moments on the mic.
