Noah Cyrus Teams Up With Labrinth For Debut Single “Make Me (Cry)”

Those rumors about Noah Cyrus landing a record deal turned out to be true after all! Miley’s little sister dropped her debut single this afternoon (November 14) and it’s a surprisingly sophisticated ballad. Produced by and featuring UK hitmaker Labrinth, the track showcases the 16-year-old’s gravelly vocals and alt-leaning style. “I never needed you like I do right now,” she coos on the chorus. “I never hated you like I do right now. Cause all you ever do is make me [teardrop sound].”

The single is already available to download/stream in Australia and New Zealand, but we’ll have to wait a little longer. (It will probably be released tonight). Whispers that the teenager signed with Universal Music Group started last year when her mom, Tish Cyrus, posted a picture of the record company’s address on Instagram along with the caption “Here I go again #dejavu.”
