Kanye West was booed when he said that he would've voted for Trump, had he actually voted.

Lauren Jauregui has shown a new side of herself. On November 18, Billboard published an open letter by the Fifth Harmony member to Donald Trump voters. “I am a bisexual Cuban-American woman and I am so proud of it,” she writes — the first time that she has publicly spoken about her sexuality.

Lauren also uses her story, as a feminist daughter of a immigrant family who isn’t straight, to explain why an American run by Trump and vice president elect Mike Pence puts lives like hers, along with many others, at risk. Furthermore, she compares Trump’s “18-month campaign off the back of your hatred” to Adolf Hitler‘s own ascension to power in Germany (“Just read his autobiography: Mein Kampf“).

“Our ‘political correctness’ that your champion, Donald Trump, so pointedly disregarded throughout his entire campaign and now with the appointment of his advisors and other government officials, is the language we have worked tirelessly to establish to feel safe in a world that never stops reminding us we are minorities,” Lauren writes.

Lauren’s open letter is long, but worth the read. Preview it below, then see it in its entirety at Billboard.
