The Weeknd Announces New Short Film ‘Mania’: Watch The Teaser
The Weeknd‘s highly-anticipated album Starboy will arrive on Friday (November 25), and in advance of its release, the singer (real name Abel Tesfaye) has unveiled the teaser for his accompanying short film, Mania.
Directed by long-time collaborator Grant Singer, the visual piece is standardly dark and mysterious. It features shots of a giant club, a scary-looking villian-type dude, and shots of a majestic panther, which also made a cameo in the “Starboy” music video. Perhaps it’s a continuation of that? Let’s hope so.
