Justin Timberlake Talks Double Denim Outfit: “I Don’t Think Even I Could Bring That Back”
Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears‘ matching double denim outfits at the 2001 AMAs is, to this day, a pivotal staple of early aughts fashion. But, it seems the now-iconic moment is something Timberlake would really love to forget. The singer finally addressed the ensemble on the Australian tv show The Project when asked to talk about his music industry knowledge now versus his boyband days.
“If you wear denim on denim it will get documented,” he joked. “You know what, I don’t think even I could bring that back.”
