Niall Horan Says One Direction “Will Be Back”

One Direction might not be over after all. The group’s Niall Horan has given an update on the boy band to British publication Sunday People, reportedly saying that 1D “will be back.”

“We would be silly not to… ridiculous,” he said.

Of course, there is no specific timetable for their reunion, since the boys have all had a pretty busy year. Harry Styles recently worked on Christopher Nolan’s upcoming World War II movie Dunkirk, Liam Payne signed a solo deal with Republic Records and Louis Tomlinson is taking care of his new-born baby. Horan, though, has seemingly been the busiest of them all, releasing his poignant single “This Town” and performing it at the likes of the 2016 American Music Awards.

What’s more, the Irish singer recently noted that everyone is “enjoying” their time apart.

“At the moment we are all doing our own thing,” he said during a recent red carpet interview in Los Angeles. “Harry wanted to do his movie and everyone is just chilling… I don’t think anyone needs to worry about us we are fine.”

Glad to hear there’s hope. But while you wait for their glorious return, watch Horan’s moving rendition of “This Town” via Capitol Record’s 1 MIC 1 Take video series for solace.
