Drake was the most streamed artist on Spotify for the second year in a row. His music generated 4.7 billion streams, more than doubling his 2015 No. 1 total of 1.8 billion plays, which now makes him Spotify’s all time most streamed artist in the world, according to Fortune. As you would expect, Views was the album with the most plays this year, tallying 2.45 billion streams, while “One Dance” was the most popular song with 970 million streams.

Justin Bieber was second most popular Spotify artist, followed by Rihanna (her 2.5 billion streams makes her the top female), twenty one pilots and Kanye West. In addition to “One Dance,” the top five songs were rounded out with Seeb‘s “I Took A Pill In Ibiza” remix, The Chainsmokers and Daya‘s “Don’t Let Me Down,” “Work” and Sia‘s “Cheap Thrills.”

Looking at the US stats specifically, they’re not much different. Drake leads, followed by Kanye, Rihanna, twenty one pilots and Future. For songs in America, “Needed Me” and “Panda” are in, “Cheap Thrills” and “Ibiza” are out.

Peruse all the music right here.
