Lady Gaga praises her enthusiastic fan base in a new promo for her upcoming Super Bowl Halftime Show. In the two-minute video, the Joanne singer talks about the power of fandom, explaining why it’s such a powerful force driving her art and how she hopes to harness that for the big game.

It’s the flipside of what she was discussing with CBS News over the weekend, tearing up when she explained the downside of fame and always being watched/followed without a chance to interact like a real human in the real world. But this video emphasizes the reason she got into this industry.

“I guess that’s always been my dream, to bring people together through music,” she says. “I have the best fans ever. I don’t know what I did to deserve them but they are such a blessing to me.”
