Watch Mariah Carey Return To The ‘VH1 Divas’ Stage
Mariah Carey performed on VH1 Divas Holiday: Unsilent Night, which aired last night (December 5), marking her first time on the Divas stage since 2000. And she returned in fine form, performing “All I Want For Christmas Is You” after being whisked her out in a sleigh and surrounded by dancing nutcrackers.
It culminated with the jacked nutcrackers hoisting Mariah up for the finale, which would’ve been a real spectacle if not for the distracting piped-in cheers throughout the performance.
In just a few weeks, Carey will take on Times Square for Ryan Seacrest‘s New Year’s Eve special. As for last night, Teyana Taylor was also on the roster, and she performed “Santa Baby,” plus JoJo, Bebe Rexha and Serayah did “All Alone On Christmas,” Remy Ma took on “Christmas In Hollis,” Vanessa Williams belted out “Save The Best For Last” and Chaka Khan was joined by Patti LaBelle and more divas for a medley.
