Grab the tissues.

Kelly Clarkson gave a striking performance of her Hamilton Mixtape ballad “It’s Quiet Uptown” live on the Honda Stage at iHeartRadio NY.  And this time around, the singer opted for stripped-down piano melody as she poignantly crooned the Broadway tune, which focuses on the grief that Alexander Hamilton and his wife Eliza Hamilton experience over their son’s death.

What’s more, Clarkson also graced last night’s season finale of The Voice to sing the number with finalist Billy Gilman.

Watch the moving duet below.
