Can't Stop The Weeknd
Mere weeks after 'Starboy' dropped, the Weeknd revealed that new music is in the works.

The Weeknd features Kendrick Lamar in “Sidewalks,” the electric Starboy track about their self-made hustles. Last night (December 17) at his Vevo Presents concert in Los Angeles, The Weeknd brought out Kendrick as a surprise guest — the first time they’ve performed “Sidewalks” together live.

The crowd stood still when Kendrick’s voice first boomed out the speakers, perhaps because they figured that was the track playing. Once he actually walked out on stage, though, even the Weeknd got considerably more hyped, jumping up and down as everyone else put their phones in the air.

“He’s a genius,” the Weeknd said to Zane Lowe about Kendrick’s “Sidewalks” verse. “It wasn’t just a random Kendrick Lamar verse, it was something special because again, I don’t like to say this all the time, but we’ve known each other for a while and it’s crazy how we started connecting on this record.”

The Weeknd’s entire Vevo Presents show will be posted online next week. For now, see him bring out Kendrick Lamar for “Sidewalks” below.
