And then there were four.

Following her exploration of a somewhat solo career in her spare time over the past year and a half, Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello has officially departed from the girl group, according to an Instagram post that went up this morning. (Read the full statement below.)

“After 4 and a half years of being together, we have been informed by her representatives that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony,” the group posted on the photo-sharing social media site today. “We wish her well.”

The statement goes on to indicate that the band “will continue on” by noting, “…we will be moving forward with the four of us — Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui for our fans.”

Cabello is currently enjoying her first hit single outside of the group, as her Machine Gun Kelly collaboration “Bad Things” climbed to #10 on the Billboard Hot 100 last week. A year ago, she was also on the charts sans her Fifth Harmony members with Shawn Mendes duet “I Know What You Did Last Summer.”

But Camila isn’t the only one who’s been branching out on her own. The remaining Fifth Harmony members, while stating that they’re committed to carry on with the group, also indicate that they’ll be taking part in “our solo endeavors.”

The group’s surprising news ends with this heartfelt note to their fans: “Harmonizers, we are in this together. We love you with all of our hearts.”
