AURORA has released the video for her dreamy number “Winter Bird,” and it’s incredibly striking. Shot at Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh, the clip is a collaboration with YouTube and sees the singer crooning the song in a cocoon made by drones. In fact, the entire thing is a meditative look on technology’s relationship with nature – something that the Norwegian singer-songwriter finds particularly fascinating.

“It’s both magnificent and terrifying how the world is evolving and how technology is evolving,” she tells PAPER Magazine, who premiered the visual. “And if we go back to the concept of change — I quite liked pointing that out with having drones in the video with me.”

Watch below.

“Winter Bird” is featured on AURORA’s debut album, All My Demons Greeting Me as a Friend.
