Austin Mahone Poses Shirtless For ‘L’Uomo Vogue’: 8 Pics
Stripping off for a shirtless photo shoot is turning into a rite of passage for teen idols hoping to make the leap to adult pop star. Justin Bieber got the ball rolling with a string of ab-revealing shoots (the paparazzi got the rest), while Shawn Mendes took the baton last year with eye-popping appearances in Flaunt, Hero and L’Uomo Vogue. Austin Mahone now follows suit with a sexy spread in the latter. He shows off his rippling abs in a series of black-and-white pics and then gets his supermodel on for a high-fashion pictorial.
The reason for Austin’s semi-nude promo? Well, he has an EP (or is it a mixtape?) to promote. For Me + You arrived unexpectedly on December 30 and boasts features from 2 Chainz, Juicy J and “Mmm Yeah” collaborator Pitbull. They reunite for a perky anthem called “Lady,” which samples Modjo and Chic. It looks like this is just a taste of what’s to come with the 20-year-old’s long-delayed debut LP finally set for release in 2017. If the music thing doesn’t work out, he can always turn to modeling.
