Pop Perspective: Zayn & Taylor
Idolator editors rate and review 'Fifty Shades Darker' track "I Don't Wanna Live Forever."

Zayn Malik began shooting his and Taylor Swift‘s “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” video last night (December 7) for Fifty Shades Darker. His scenes, which he shot in under a half an hour, took place outside London’s St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel to screaming fans watching from a distance. The “Pillowtalk” singer appeared dapper in a black suit, while boarding a car to fake smoke and rain.

Taylor was MIA, though her management was reportedly on set, according to The Sun.

“I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” began with Zayn working with Jack Antonoff, who frequently collaborates with Taylor. “The interesting thing was, she is friends with [Gigi Hadid, supermodel and Zayn’s girlfriend], so she already reached out after hearing it because Jack had just played her the song anyway,” Zayn said to Elvis Duran after the song’s release. “She went in the studio the next day to record it.”
