Selena Gomez’s 20 Million+ Sales Plaque & An Album Update
With Selena Gomez dutifully working on the follow-up to Revival, now is as good a time as any for her mom to stunt on Instagram. Mandy Teefey proudly showed off a plaque acknowledging her daughter’s mega-successful stint at Hollywood Records. (The pop star sold more than 20 million singles). “Um…just received this as a delivery,” she proudly captioned the pic. “Looks great but, it’s bigger than our wall?” Mama Gomez might need to buy a bigger office to display all the hardware if the hits keep coming.
Speaking of hits, that’s exactly what Selena is chasing at the moment. We know she has a duet with Paulina Rubio on the way and could potentially feature on a song with Ricky Martin and/or Maluma (she recently captioned a pic “vente pa’ ca,” i.e. the title of their global smash). The 24-year-old has also been spending time in the studio with The Futuristics (MGK and Camila Cabello’s “Bad Things”), Danish songwriter Jonas Jeberg (Kylie Minogue’s “All I See”) and hit machine Jacob Kasher (Maroon 5’s “Don’t Wanna Know”).
