Little Mix & Skepta Lead Brit Award Nominations
Little Mix is one of two names leading the nominations for this year’s Brit Awards.
Like Skepta, the grime artist who won last year’s Mercury Prize, the girl group is nominated in three categories: British Group, British Artist Video of the Year (for “Hair”) and British Single (“Shout Out to My Ex”).”this is a dream come true for us!! Thank you thank you thank you,” Little Mix says on Instagram.
Other artists with multiple nominations include The 1975 (British Album of the Year, British Group), Rihanna (British Single, International Female Solo Artist), Drake (International Male Solo Artist, International Group with Future) and Michael Kiwanuka (British Male Solo Artist, British Album of the Year).
David Bowie, who also received two nods (British Male Solo Artist, British Album of the Year), will be honored at this year’s ceremony along with George Michael.
